Each year in September the Caragabal Country Club hosts the Essential Energy Sheep Races. This is a fantastic event for the community and visitors with up to six races and the chance to bid for and decorate your own sheep. There are great prizes for winners (courtesy of generous sponsors) and a live band (Phat Boyz from Young), bar area (no BYO), kids entertainment (including a lolly drop and jumping castle) and BBQ making it the perfect day for families.
The 2011 date for the races has now been set for Saturday 17 September.
The gates open at 11am with the first race starting at 12.30pm.
